There are a variety of needle felt holders sold in Japan.
The ones shown here are products sold in Japan, but search the Internet to find your favorite.
Even if you cannot purchase the muddler straws shown in the video, you can still make connecting needles.
Connecting needles can be bent easily if they are randomly fixed in place.
The key to making them last longer is to secure them parallel and evenly spaced.
You can use the corners of an eraser, fix them once with bond or resin, and then cover them with resin clay.
